man. it feels so weird being in your 20s mourning a celebrity who you once grew up with. shaped your teenage hood and you made life long friends out of. at the same time not excusing who he became but also trying to grieve who he once was.

my mom said to me “try and think about something else” and that’s when it dawned on me why this is so hard. as insane as it is, one direction has been on my mind in some capacity on a constant basis for YEARS and now this is all i will be able to think about when i think of them

those 5 years that one direction was together, felt like the longest 5 years of my life. the excitement of getting home and logging in just to see what they were up to, the back to back events they were at that always provided new content, it just.. was so much fun as a fan
