GM Central Railway DRM Pune DRM Mumbai CR Central Railway Ashwini Vaishnaw Ministry of Railways Train No. 12125 CSMT Pune Pragati “Superfast” Express travels Mumbai to Pune 190kms in 3 hours 25 Minutes with an average speed of 55.6 kmph.

Train No. 12126 Pune CSMT Pragati “Superfast” Express covers 190kms in 3 hours 40 minutes with an average speed of 51.8kmph. Round trip average speed of Pragati Express comes to 53.6kmph (380kms in 7hrs 5mins)

According to the rule of Indian Railways, Average speed should be above 55kmph... for considering it as a Superfast train... Here Pragati Express has an average of 53.6kmph. Why is it still considered as a Superfast and charged a SF Fare? Isn't this a loot?
