Tonight for the coin toss we had 2 special guests. 5th Grader Nick Boyle and 6th Grader Tennyson Leach were selected by the youth football organization to join the coin toss because they display leadership characteristics by putting the team first.

Due to the rain, the youth football camp session this morning has been postponed!

This is our starting quarterback Jacob Needham at 10:30 pm on Friday night, after one of the biggest wins in recent school history, helping our custodial crew clean the stadium. Leadership is doing the right thing when (you think) nobody is watching.

Although the score doesn’t show it, the team fought really hard last night. We knew coming in this would be a really tough game and our team responded the way we hoped. They fought until the very end. Lots of good things and lots of things we still need to clean up. E+R=O

A good friend shared this with me. It’s the truth. The last high school football game is always different. Kids play basketball again. They play golf or baseball. They wrestle around. They run and race. They never put a helmet and shoulder pads on again once it’s over.
