GPs and BMANI-GP are 100% with patients on this and are desperately battling to provide a better service. He is bizarrely picking a fight not just with GPs, but with all patients struggling for access to a starved and depleted service

The 115 calls to the GP in question is because of a depleted and financially unsustainable model and trying to make them look mutually exclusive?

Alan Stout BMANI-GP He has got this very very wrong. How strange he decries patients needing to phone hundreds of times to gets through, but says NOTHING re. underlying reasons for this - insufficient staff & doctors. Yet thinking if they shout louder GPs can magically spawn more appointments.

The fact they’ve phoned 115 times should be a clue as to why the service is at breaking point… 99.6% of our amazing GPs can’t be wrong, we need to listen to them and give them the support/funding the service requires.
