Gutted that I am not able to attend the funeral of Turton Football Club legend Ernie Charnock. I am sure everyone going will make sure it is a fitting tribute and send off to a true gentleman. I will be raising my glass to salute someone I admired, respected and will miss #RIP

Every amateur football club needs volunteers. Today, sadly, we said good bye to The ultimate volunteer. 52 years service to Turton Football Club is truly remarkable and not a penny in return for his efforts. There are no words to sum that level of dedication up. God Bless Ernie. 💙

Found a bat with left wing not working. Had minimal assistance from Bat Conservation Trust, and the Vets. Just got 2 dodgy numbers off BCT and vet said we could take it down there but it would definitely be put to sleep. Any assistance appreciated #bats #vets
