Monday was my last proper day out with Montgomeryshire WT and it was spent doing a survey in the hills above Llanbrynmair. It was wet and windy but still fun as always 🥰 last day out with my partner in crime, @tarkamerl!

Been so busy packing and sorting my life out. A week until we move out and 11 days until we fly to NZ!!! Quite glad to be leaving the UK with everything that is going on right now! On another note, I've not seen a swift for 5 days 😥 lots of house martins still about though!

Had my last walk up Town Hill in Montgomery last night with an ex colleague. Very much needed amongst the craziness of packing and sorting. Absolutely love the views from up here, right across North and Mid Wales and Shropshire!

Yesterday it was 3 years since I joined Montgomeryshire WT and 3 weeks since I left to start my next adventure. What an amazing 3 years it was! I learnt so much, met some amazing people and saw some wonderful wildlife! Who knows... one day I may be back! 💚

The journey to New Zealand begins! Some very emotional goodbyes at Crewe station. Going to be a long 36 hours until we finally get to our apartment in Auckland! 🇳🇿♥️
