Lucy Letby is innocent
@lorobawa
Unforgivable UK miscarriage of justice. It was medical negligence and natural causes in an understaffed and underskilled ward.

The Trials of Lucy Letby My view is that she is totally innocent. The handwritten note was due to her mental state afrer being arrested. No acute mental illness was found She had no motive . She ought to be freed as there is no conclusive evidence. #reasonabledoubtlucyletby

The Trials of Lucy Letby Shame they didn’t take that level of care before broadcast. But the aim of including that data was of course to cast doubt on Letby’s character via such info as a means of helping to sustain her wrongful convictions. So the BBC programme did exactly what it set out to do.

Peter Hitchens Seems many people just want Letby to be guilty. I can only conclude that locking up a young woman until she dies is preferable to acknowledging serious failures in our glorious NHS. The BBC has almost become a reverse barometer, whatever it asserts, I assume the opposite is true.

"She was a paediatric nurse jailed for killing seven patients – before her conviction was sensationally quashed. So what does her story mean for Letby's appeal?" How the Daily Mail's article about Lucia de Berk – "the Dutch Lucy Letby" – appeared in print today:

Richard Gill Peter Elston The BBC also fail to understand that #LucyLetby would have been supervised whilst working her shifts

"There's an innocent woman in prison that's been sentenced to the rest of her life to die in prison. And potentially I can get her out. It's not 'why am I doing it?' but 'why wouldn't I do it?'" The Times and The Sunday Times profiles Lucy Letby's barrister, Mark McDonald: thetimes.com/article/ecb1f1…
