Lucy Letby is innocent

@lorobawa

Unforgivable UK miscarriage of justice. It was medical negligence and natural causes in an understaffed and underskilled ward.

It appears that the entire dramatic end section of Panorama comes down to 4 tubes were accidentally extubated when Lucy Letby was training there in 2015, during a time when tubes were known to be too small. That's it. The BBC should remove the entire section. It's trash.

Viscount Toad KG 🌸🇮🇱 Wolf 🐺 I think it is actually the Lucy Letby case that is doing most to utterly destroy the credibility of the entire justice system and reveal the whole charade to be rotten to the core.

The Trials of Lucy Letby My view is that she is totally innocent. The handwritten note was due to her mental state afrer being arrested. No acute mental illness was found She had no motive . She ought to be freed as there is no conclusive evidence. #reasonabledoubtlucyletby

The Trials of Lucy Letby Shame they didn’t take that level of care before broadcast. But the aim of including that data was of course to cast doubt on Letby’s character via such info as a means of helping to sustain her wrongful convictions. So the BBC programme did exactly what it set out to do.

BBC admits it broadcast inaccurate figures. From Lucy Letby's lawyer Mark McDonald: “I complained to the BBC before the programme because they got it wrong on so many levels and they don’t seem to care so I will escalate it to Ofcom.” telegraph.co.uk/gift/1837d0709…

Peter Hitchens Seems many people just want Letby to be guilty. I can only conclude that locking up a young woman until she dies is preferable to acknowledging serious failures in our glorious NHS. The BBC has almost become a reverse barometer, whatever it asserts, I assume the opposite is true.

Lucy Letby: Who To Believe? Not Panorama, clearly. Why the changes made by the BBC so far are not remotely sufficient. 🧵(1/7) telegraph.co.uk/gift/1837d0709…

Jonathan Coffey goes on to quote one of their beloved anonymous sources - "Either [LUCY] is spectacularly bad, or acting maliciously". You could perhaps argue either the PRODUCERS are spectacularly bad, or acting maliciously. (5/7)

It is not tenable to keep the entire GOTCHA section about the Liverpool tubes in the programme. It seems it has already been nixed from the BBC news website. Perhaps the better option is to pull Panorama entirely, and start an internal inquiry into how it all happened.

Unfortunately embarrassingly dodgy statistics may warrant an apology from the BBC but it’s just a sort of evidence the CPS will use to charge Letby again. After all, it worked very well first time around. The criminal justice system doesn’t give a shit about statistics.
