Being positive doesn’t mean you ignore the reality of the situation or sugarcoat what’s happening. It means you don’t let negativity sour things and make them worse.

You can walk in 5 different classrooms and see 5 different teachers connecting with students in 5 different ways. Every teacher has their own talents and strengths which make them amazing.

Treat people right. Appreciate them, encourage them, support them and make them feel like they matter (because they do). Do this at home, at work, at school, at the store, etc. Do this with people you know and people you don't. Try your best every day to make someone else's day.

One of the great things about being at a new campus is learning all the different procedures. Our teachers use these lights in the classroom, gym and cafeteria in many different ways. It can help control how many students are in the bathroom while being a visual. Powell Elementary, Conroe ISD 💜

Do More Than What’s Required – Average effort generates average results. If you want more, do more. Even a little extra each day can create big results over time.

When someone around you screws up, and they already feel bad about it… it’s usually not constructive to kick them when they’re down. Sometimes, grace is more transformative than justice.
