On #EarthDay2024 Scottish Government has confirmed that the sale and supply of wet wipes containing plastic will be banned in Scotland.

Ministers will introduce regulations by the end of 2024 with the ban due to come into force 18 months later.

Just a heads up that the path up Conic Hill from Balmaha will be closed again during this coming week - from Monday 22nd – Friday 26th April. This is whilst helicopters are bringing in stone for further path repairs. Loch Lomond & The Trossachs

Conic Hill path will be closed Monday-Friday next week to accommodate helicopters lifting 450 bags of stone weighing around 1 tonne each. The closure is for the health and safety of walkers and contractors. The path is open this weekend and will re-open ahead of next weekend.

We love seeing people enjoying the National Park and the benefits of time spent in the outdoors.
