Excellent day in Loch Lomond & The Trossachs with Gordon Watson. Director Simon Jones and local land owner Jamie Graham. We saw path improvements on the West Highland Way, talked about current challenges for land managers and the important convening role of the National Park.

Lochrosque Estate is one of the largest #PeatlandRestoration projects Peatland ACTION has funded to date with more than 1400 hectares put on the road to recovery between 2017 and 2022.

It was lovely to be asked to be part of the launch of Gogarburn Tree Nursery. This is a great collaboration between TCV Scotland and NatWest Group. Volunteers will collect local native seeds, propagate them in the nursery and ultimately plant trees across Scotland.

Francesca Osowska 🍃 That point about really listening is so, so important . It will be so much easier and the outcomes so much better if they are pursued in genuine partnership.

Landowners,land managers & farmers all need to work together with NatureScot & they in turn need to work with us to deliver a sustainable, biodiverse, wildlife abundant future for our children. Climate change has aligned many of our goals but we all need the money to deliver it.

Very jealous. When I was growing up in Cumbria there was a treasure hunt type book to try to find the natterjack toad. I never did!
