2/2When individuals present as a risk to self and/or others when acutely distressed, they need to be supported in working through their trauma, not encouraged to burry it. Compassionate, trauma informed care is key to psychiatry

I also read about ‘blank face 1:1 observations’. Where is the meaning and therapeutic engagement in this? I have feelings of anger at this care provider, and relief that I work in a very different organisation that promotes service user voice and trauma informed care.
