So sad to hear of the death of Shirley Hughes - an author that was with me at important parts of my life. From my own first English unit for my first class in 1991 with ‘Lucy and Tom at the Seaside’, to my own girls with ‘Dogger’ and ‘Angel Mae’ every Christmas. Beautiful books!
