First Day of School, 21 years into teaching. I am honestly just so thankful that I still love it this much. The kids are just so much fun. I had an incredible summer, and I didn’t think I was ready to be back, but once they hit the doors, I was ready. 💚

I have my students write physical gratitude notecards before big tests. My colleagues love it AND research says that activating that part of the brain can improve the kids’ performance. Plus, then I get to see them posted up in colleague classrooms later. 💚
