If the 1st thing that comes to your mind as a teacher is how do I stop students from cheating, you're not being a teacher. You're being a surveillance tool.

Requiring cameras/recording for online classes is a form of policing that needs to be abolished. I will never do this, ever. I do not assume that I have the right to surveillance students’ homes or appearance. There are too many other ways to measure learning and build community.
