Now, we must bow our heads and remember that 49 years ago today the Dead performed a legendary show at the Old Renaissance Faire Grounds in Veneta, Oregon. Photo captured from the Sunshine Daydream documentary highlighting this performance.

The Dead performed a top-shelf performance of “Heaven Help The Fool” on the night before Halloween in 1980! "This is the only song from Bob's 1978 solo record that made it into the Dead's setlist, aside from the one-time performance of Salt Lake City in 1995." -@LemieuxDavid
