I don’t know who needs to hear this but rest is not a reward. You don’t have to earn rest. You need rest. You deserve rest. You are worthy of rest simply because you are a living being. And don’t ever feel guilty for taking time to rest.

So, that sun-rise on Mars picture I tweeted a while ago? Turns out the ops team took a bunch of pictures and made gifs of both sunrise and sunset! Check these out!

To every independent bookstore, I want to express my gratitude first and foremost as a reader, as a lover and collector of books. Many thanks for curating your treasure chests of books for us readers. 🙏🏾#IndependentBookstoreDay.

These are elementary school children who woke up this morning. Who ate their favorite cereal. Who tied their shoes in double knots. Who laughed with friends on the bus. Now more than a dozen are dead. This isn’t normal. It doesn’t have to be this way. It can’t keep being this way

New images of my favorite moon, Europa, from the NASA's Juno Mission mission today! missionjuno.swri.edu/junocam/proces… Look at the topography you can see near the terminator, at the left side (day/night boundary). The dark circle at bottom right looks like Callanish, a big multi-ring impact crater!

I want a book theme park. I want the shire and Westeros and Willie Wonka’s chocolate factory and I wanna choose my own adventure. I wanna fall down a rabbit hole and stay at The Overlook with a wardrobe to Narnia in my room and the Beast’s library downstairs. That’s what I want.

IT IS 2023 AND I AM ADMITTING THAT I HAVE NO INTENTION OF READING EVERY BOOK I BUY. I LIKE COLLECTING THEM. I LIKE HAVING LOTS OF THEM AROUND. I LIKE BEING SURROUNDED BY STORIES AND POSSIBILITIES. I WANT A LIBRARY. I AM NOT A BOOK MINIMALIST LEAVE ME ALONE (WITH MY BOOKS).
