I have a theory...the #Universe is trying to get our attention. The world has been divisive and cruel and as a society we have forgotten what is important. #Covid_19 is scary and tragic but it will force the world to come together and hopefully get back to a state of unity.

My mom was diagnosed with #alzheimers last week. My 10 yr old son asked me if it was possible to experience grief when someone hasn't died. It's my job as a mom to help him emotionally weather this and #coronacrisis stress but this is when it hits me most-I can't lean on mine.

It's the first official day of missed class due to #Covid19. The education minister sent a link for online learning resources. I guess they haven't had much time to come up with a #homeschooling plan because it suggests educational TV programs. This ought to cheer my kid up.

#ThrowbackThursdays have a whole new meaning now. On TV shows I see people hugging or shaking hands and it seems weird. On the Price is Right the other day a pre-taped episode aired and the grand prize was three trips one to China, worth 30 K. Yikes.

#Writingcommunity, in light of everything happening in the world this isn't important but...my publisher pulled the plug on my book a week before it's launch date-citing Covid as the reason. It was ready to go-I'm talking cover design, back cover blurb, launch...now what?

We watched Gordan Ramsay's #Uncharted with our 11 yr old son. He loved it! That is until they speared a live guinea pig and roasted it over a fire and he told us he is now a vegan. If only there was a show that could traumatize him to play less video games. #familytime

Hey #WritingCommunity I know this #holidayseason is grim for many. Just want you to know if I'm talking about superfluous things like writing -I'm still aware of injustices, hardships- I just don't discuss them. Can't wait to kiss #2020goodbye and reconnect with all of you!

I was disappointed by #TheBachelor finale. I really wish they chose Ivan to be the first African American bachelor. #IvanForBachelor Yes. This is my life right now. That's okay. It means I'm definitely not getting out and following Covid rules.
