I’ve been struggling lately with finding motivation with the shorter days, colder weather, and a new (earlier) work schedule. How do you all motivate yourselves?

Sooo this was a first. My husband brought me home a chestnut praline latte from Starbucks. Started drinking and something tasted off. Opened up the cup and there was no espresso - just milk and whatever flavoring is in a chestnut praline latte! 🤨

Finally got my word count up to where it needs to be, only to end up cutting ~5,000 words from the third act that were completely unnecessary. Ugh. The fun never ends. #WritingCommunity

I can’t say enough wonderful things about WFWA. My writing has improved so much since joining and they are a wonderful group of writers who are all so supportive of one another.

Just finished my huge revision/rewrite of my WIP that I started last February!! I learned SO MUCH this past year and am so excited to be one step closer to completely finishing this novel!

I just finished reading through my freshly revised WIP and am so excited to only have minimal revisions/edits I want to do. My goal is to start querying in April. I think I can make it happen!

Why are we talking about Opening Up America Again? The problem isn't the economy. It's the virus. To slow its spread, people must stay home. With enough income to pay their bills. This is what we need to be focusing on—not forcing people to risk their lives for a paycheck.

Is it crazy that I’m procrastinating finishing the last scene of my final edit because I’m afraid of reading back through my WIP and discovering it’s not as good as I think I made it?

Just wrote half of a scene where my characters go for a picnic in the park. All great until I realized just the day before the main character was stranded at the airport because of a blizzard. Because it’s winter in Buffalo. 😑 #writingcommmunity
