We have almost all of the individual vote history from the 2022 general election reported in NY (93%). Dem turnout was not good, though slightly better than 2014 (the last midterm with a Dem in the WH). In a way, it looks like the electorate most seemed to expect nationwide.

For over 100 years of a statue of Robert E. Lee represented Virginia in Statuary Hall. That statue is now gone and will be replaced with Barbara Johns, a teenager who stood up to end segregation of schools in Virginia that led to the unanimous Brown v. Board of Education case.

DeSantis's "culture war" is not even that popular in Florida, despite what the author of the NYTimes' piece claims. Majorities of FL voters oppose "Parental Rights in Education" and 51% oppose the "Stop Woke Act." These laws even have relatively weak support from Republicans!
