The batteries are the key technology to achieve the Paris Agreement, since they are the major near-term driver to decarbonize road transportation and support the transition to a renewable power system, keeping global emissions on track to stay below the 2ºC Paris Agreement target

In support of urgent actions against climate change, this project presents a simple yet profound vision: a circular, responsible and just battery value chain is one of the major near-term drivers to realize the 2°C Paris

LIONS2LIFE is a pilot experience, based on a collective effort, in which clean energy (from photovoltaic panels) will be supplied to an eco-neighborhood La Pinada Lab en Barrio La Pinada thanks to the use of batteries that come from a sustainable mobility system

Alternative mobility is becoming more and more common practice. It is expected that between 2020 and 2023 more than 130 million electric bicycles will be sold worldwide, of which two fifths will be of the Li-ion type.

In Spain, the battery and recycling industry is a priority. We are generating a large stock of used batteries and we are in full expansion of solar power. We are in line with the Paris Agreement, and that is why we plan to promote an initiative in this environment.
