🟡🟢 | SKIPPER SHORT STAYS! We are pleased to confirm that captain James Short will be staying with the club for another season. James will also continue as club captain.

🟡🟢 | RYAN BROOKE RETURNS! We are pleased to confirm that striker Ryan Brooke will be staying with the club for another season. Ryan was the NPL top goalscorer in the 2021/22 season and scored 16 goals this season after returning from a short stint at Rylands

🟡🟢 | TRIPLE AWARD WINNER CONTINUES IN THE STICKS We are pleased to confirm that England's number one Danny Taberner will be staying with the club for another year. 'Tabs' collected 3 awards at this seasons awards evening and was instrumental in getting to the play off final.

🟡🟢 | DOYLE REMAINS AT THE APEC! We are pleased to confirm midfielder Lewis Doyle will be staying with the club for another season. 'Doyley' has been ever present in the Linnets line up this season as is regarded as a key member of the team by the Runcorn fans.

🟡🟢 | RAINFORD BACK WITH PAYNTER! We are pleased to announce that Striker and Assistant manager Jamie Rainford will be returning to the club for another year. Jamie was electric at the start of the season before being hit with a long term injury but he is back to his best.

🟡🟢 | BY GUMBS HE'S STAYING! We are please to confirm that local hero and Murdishaw's very own Eden Gumbs will be return to the club for this season. Eden has been outstanding and has played in a number of different positions while scoring a screamer in the play off semi final

🟡🟢 | LUCK OF THE IRISH AS O'MAHONY RETURNS! We are pleased to confirm that Irish giant Sean O'Mahony will be returning for another season at the APEC. Sean has been a shining light all season with his dominant performances, cheeky smile and Irish charm around the ground.

🟡🟢 | LIGHTNING DOES STRIKE TWICE! We are pleased to confirm that winger and fans favourite Dapo Olarewaju will be returning to the club for another season. Dapo has been electrifying since joining the club and very quickly became a fans fave before being hit with a ACL injury

📄🎷 | SAXON IS FIRST PAYNTER SIGNING. We are pleased to confirm Kidsgrove winger Will Saxon becomes the first signing of the new season. Will is a well known name in this division with spells at Nantwich Town, Leek and most recently Kidsgrove. Go give him a follow Will Saxon

✍🏻🚨 | NEW SIGNING ALERT We are pleased to confirm the signing of former Barnsley, MK Dons and Huddersfield defender Antony Kay. Antony brings a wealth of experience with over 500 appearances in the EFL and last season featured 35 times for Bala Town in Wales.
