NDIS Review recommends FIFTY changes to the NDIS Act in order to overhaul the scheme. There are serious issues with recommendations for 1:3 support, plus all providers to be registered. Registration does not keep us safer. Ann-Marie Smith was murdered by a registered provider.

My hope for 2024 is that our government examines the NDIS Review recommendations with a human rights lens. This means asking the critical question, "Will this recommendation advance the rights of people with disabilities to self determination & equal opportunity?" @billshortenmp
