The Horticulture Development Council is an industry-led private voluntary organisation that represents the interests of the diverse horticulture sector by providing a coordinated interface with the government and related public institutions. #hdc #zimbabwe #zimfarmers

At its peak in 2000, the sector used to contribute over USD125 Million in export earnings, currently, the industry contributes USD77 Million to export revenue and employs approx 18 700 people. We see the potential to double this in the next 3 years. #hdc #zimfarmer #horticulture

Our strategy comes at the back of a declining sector that holds so much promise. We want to recreate some of the key success factors that propelled the sector in the past and more from a concerted effort to set and deliver collective growth and transformation targets. #hdczim
