The more I learn about public policy, the more I understand how poverty is a series of deliberate policy decisions.

Starting today, millions of Americans now have their insulin costs capped at $35 a month. Every Democrat voted for it. Every Republican voted against it.

Health and poverty are inextricably linked. Being sick makes you poor and being poor makes you sick.

If we can work toward this, why don’t we? 🙏🏻 People need help.
