NEW: CDC strengthens recommendation for pregnant women to get vaccinated, saying it's "not seeing a signal of safety concerns of the vaccine in pregnancy" and pregnant women are at increased risk of severe illness from Covid & "adverse pregnancy outcomes, such as preterm birth."

Previously, the public health agency was vague in its recommendation. Now, the CDC is strengthening its guidance, recommending that pregnant women should be vaccinated against Covid-19, based on new data about the safety of the vaccines. cnn.it/37x9FXV
