.UT Austin students sent a letter to Jay Hartzell and Brandon Creighton asking for transparency and inviting them to a student-led town hall after UT cut 60+ staff positions and its DCCE April 2. As of Friday afternoon, they say they haven’t heard back.

.UT Austin AAUP has sent a letter to UT Austin president Jay Hartzell imploring him to revoke the terminations and reinstate the DCCE. They write “Staff who have been terminated deserve to be told why they are being terminated, and they deserve a grievance process.”
