No news this weekend but I did complete my first major the Boston Marathon! Race nearly killed me but I finished! The people of Boston were amazing spectators and were super supportive along the course. Many thanks.

Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick just released issues he wants senators to focus on before the 2025 session.

There's something for everyone.
- Ban Delta 8 and 9.
- Examine charitable bail groups.
- Crack down on squatters.
- Study cost of cutting all school property taxes.

Our incredibly talented @Statesman photojournalists were looking forward to covering the eclipse in Austin today, but Gannett’s corporate greed took that opportunity away from them.

Don’t let local news go dark. Go to bit.ly/AASGuild to donate.
