Slang makes me tired in every level. I never get it, not even when I WAS a kid. When I got diagnosed as Autistic I remember saying, THAT’S why I don’t get slang.

It’s even more fun when it happens at work. ALSO fun when another autistic noticed what they think is a horrifying pattern but you happen to have more data than they do and they can’t understand because they don’t have the data and you can’t give it to them for Reasons.

No one: “Whatcha doing?” Me: “Homework” No one: “While singing along to Lion King????” Me: “Yeah. What? I’m an adult now, I can study however I want! Quiz me!” The silence required in most study halls will haunt me until the day I die.

TFW you just want to keep doing homework but the households horde of creatures becomes active all at the same time - this is why libraries exist 😂
