This looks simple but it’s a very cool prototype made by the geniuses at Digital Maker CIC to help me add audio to my artwork to create tactile talking tapestries that tell stories and sing songs, for installation and exhibitions. Love a bit of innovation!

What interesting things can I learn completely using hands-free audio? I’m going to be hardcore illustrating for months and months and wondering if I can keep another part of my brain active by learning something like a language or a ridiculously niche pub quiz subject.

I have to tell about my next books— first will be published in summer 2025 and I hope it blows you away. It’s a lyrical, engaging picture book that shows how much we have in common. I’m so excited to share it with you. Second is for 7-12s and will be published Xmas 2025. Eek!
