Although technical fittings are integral in creating a suitably bright and comfortable space, ambient lighting such as table lamps and floor lamps can create a cosier gentle light to contribute to a layered lighting scheme, whilst also contributing towards the interior design.

The Writers’ Room is a welcomed new addition to Falmouth University. We worked with Boaz Studio to create a warm and inviting lighting scheme. The use of pendants, table lamps and downlights complement the interior design resulting in a cosy and well illuminated room.
