At this time of year the bucks can often be seen rubbing their antlers on trees, branches, fallen logs, fences, posts, benches and our signage to help remove the soft velvet coating! It's a completely painless process but it can look a bit gory!

The Jacob ewes are heavily pregnant at the moment. The Park team are keeping a close eye on these mum's-to-be. You can help us care for them in the late stages of their pregnancies when you visit by keeping dogs on a short lead and popping back in mid-April to spot their lambs.

The gardens team have been busy over the winter planting approximately 2,000 tulip bulbs around the croquet lawn and pots in the gardens. We're looking forward to watching these bloom in April, providing bursts of colour & food sources for pollinators. #BlossomWatch
