Legendary investor Howard Marks just released a new memo. “In my 53 years in the investment world, I’ve seen economic cycles, manias and panics, bubbles and crashes, but I remember only two real sea changes.  I think we may be in the midst of a third one today.” My Notes…

One of the best things I’ve done for my mental health lately is to STOP focusing on peak productivity. Stop listening to audio on 2x Stop listening to podcasts while you work out Sit in silence during your commute Constantly consuming is exhausting. Your brain needs rest

This is my InBody scan from 2022. 175lbs: 115lbs of water, 42 lbs of lean muscle, 18 lbs of fat. 10% body fat I did another scan last week and it was alarming. 185lbs and 28 lbs of body fat. That’s right. Over the last year I’ve gained 10 lbs of body fat. Now at 15% body fat

Logging what I’m eating and tracking calories/macros has been HUGE for cleaning up my diet. Just having to log it makes you think twice about what you’re eating and has helped me avoid garbage food. S/O to Sam Parr who said he tracks everything he eats for years (I think)

We bought our house for ~$400,000 in 2018 and it's currently worth ~$700,000. Selling now could end up being a $1,000,000+ mistake. Here's why: We locked in a 2.25% interest rate and our monthly payment is around $2,500. Lets say we sell and buy a house for $750,000 at a 7%

A 50 year old investor that started investing $500/month in the S&P 500 when they were 20 years old in 1993 is a millionaire today. That includes .com bubble, 9/11, GFC, Pandemic, and every fear-mongering headline in between. Don't get scared out of the market

Would you switch places with Warren Buffett right now? You couldn't possibly pay me enough money to switch places with him. So don't let your youth and good health pass you by while you're obsessed with making more money, progressing in your career, etc.

Prioritize finding stocks with high dividend growth, not high dividend yield. These will likely be the best dividend stocks of the next 10+ years.
