My weekly cake bake. Last week's was a disaster & ended up in the bin. Today's ginger, apple & pecan loaf was rather more successful.

Norwich's oldest buildings part 18. C17 buildings on Pottergate - in the 80s/90s I bought loads of clothes from Head in the Clouds. C17 house now the Belgian Monk next to St John the Baptist church. C17 former Ironmongers Arms. The Garnet pub parts of which date back to C15.

Ooh-er, this photo appeared on my photo memories today 😄 Today five years ago there was a large snow sculpture in the cemetery where I regularly go for walk. The sculptors had made a spherical head, but it was too heavy to be lifted on top of the body.

Norwich's oldest buildings part 19. 1st four are C17 houses on Pottergate. Most were remodelled in Georgian style in C19. C16/17 buildings in Bedford St. We're lucky to have streets full of shops & bars in gorgeous old buildings

Norwich's oldest buildings P21. Attractive C16 & C17 buildings on Magdalen St, Fye Bridge St & surrounding area. Parts of Tombland Bookshop date back to C15! House in the first photo used to be The Jacquard nightclub where I met my husband in 1988 ♥️

Norwich's oldest buildings part 22. Just a few C17 pubs, pretty houses & shops that I've missed on previous walks. Photographed about 170 buildings in last couple of months. Now time to find a new 'project' to get me out for walks in the city.

Didn't include St Andrew's Hall in old buildings project as it's ecclesiastical. The most complete medieval friary in England. Converted into halls in mid C16. Used to be a music venue. The Stranglers played there in 1977! Nearby I found the concrete keyboard - a bit newer 1990s

Fantastic Absolute Bowie gig tonight. They always put on a brilliant show. Dropped into pub for a couple of pints on the way home. Perfect evening.
