Great thread. How to use science to avoid getting sick. You know, we should have taxpayer-funded agencies that deliver info like this, so the messaging gets to people who aren't on Twitter?

TEST TEST TEST Test your smoke alarms, carbon monoxide detectors, fire extinguishers, and all ground-fault circuit interrupters. Smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors should be tested monthly.

Did you know❔: EMS incidents make up over 40% of SFD's response. During #ParamedicServicesWeek, we’d like to take a moment to recognize the 137 Firefighter/Paramedics and 60 Medical First Responders ⚕️ on our team who continue to keep #yxe healthy and safe - thank you!

Our family wishes to thank Saskatoon Police officer who alerted my mother-in-law last night to get out of her house as the building behind her burned. Your efforts are appreciated. Shout out to Saskatoon Fire Department for a tremendous effort! We hope everyone is ok! #realheros

A hospital Emergency Room does NOT operate on a 1st-come, 1st-served basis; it operates on the triage system. Triaging patients means prioritizing based on the urgency of need for care. After registration, triage is the 1st thing that happens at an ER. saskhealthauthority.ca/news-events/ne…

Before you purchase an EV, it’s important to plan ahead and find a safe spot for your charging point so you have room for the equipment and cables to safely run to your vehicle. makeitright.ca/holmes-advice/…

We’d like to tell a story about “Fred”. (Name protected) Fred lives in the south end of Regina. A few years ago he had a pretty major heart surgery and he has some arthritis issues in his hands. Fred has $1200 a month to live on. His rent is just over $800.

I really don't care if business people need to deal with an extra connection flight or two to get where they're going. Maybe it's just me but I'd rather Government of Saskatchewan subsidize a bus line so someone's Grandma can get to a cancer appointment in the city.
