TW: suicide There is an empty corner desk in a resident workroom at GW. Now forever engraved in my mind, that desk is a harrowing reminder of the cost of medical training. In his final words, Dr. William West said that he was simply out of gas, that he had nothing left to give.

Had a great time at the Annual PET course led by Dr. Stocks. We had the opportunity to stimulate a PET, learn about tympanometry and behavioral audiometry from our audiologist, and review otoscope examinations of various TM pathologies #tympanostomy #eartubes
