Last week, I completed the Medical Research Scholars Program at the National Institutes of Health. I’m so grateful for having met these beautiful and talented people and I’m lucky enough to call them friends for life ♥️ Now, to focus on me and my final year of medical school! 🩺

And just like that, residency apps have been submitted for #Match2026 !

I’m disappointed to announce that I did not match to neurological surgery. Delayed does not mean denied. I have faced adversity before. I refuse to let this define me. That said, I am seeking a US preliminary surgery position and will work tirelessly, if given the opportunity. ✊🏽

I’m disappointed to say that I didn’t match into neurosurgery this year. Not the end of my journey, just an obstacle. I am passionate about this field and I am committed to becoming an excellent neurosurgeon. So I will be taking a post doc position and applying again next cycle.
