just when i thought nothing could make me cry more than richard siken’s poetry: behold. richard siken’s tweets

so much of summer is eating fruit over the kitchen sink and reflecting on the past

if i tell you my head hurts i don’t want you to ask me if i’ve had enough water. i want you to drop to your knees and scream “she doesn’t deserve this!!!” until god puts me out of my misery

This is fucking INFURIATING. We can absolutely afford another war but no universal healthcare, student debt cancellation, infrastructure or a universal basic income. There’s always money to destroy lives and never any to build them.
