Yesterday at #COP26, Ecuadorian president Guillermo Lasso announced that the Galápagos marine reserve will be expanded! The MPA will be 60,000 km² larger, protecting an important feeding & migration area for endangered species like hammerhead sharks & sea turtles 🌊🙌🐢
