transportation research is usually premised on optimization. but transportation depends on housing, and housing construction depends on how much time random misanthropes have on microphones. Doesn’t seem optimal.

I don’t have trouble with the European attached bottle tops. In a given week I will lift barbells, ride a bus and use a pressure washer. So for me at least, pushing aside a piece of plastic is child’s play. I understand though that for many of you they are a challenge.

Today the NY Supreme Court quickly denied Governor Hochul’s motion to dismiss our lawsuits challenging her “pause” of congestion pricing. Now she has until Oct. 15 to answer complaints. Great interim victory.
