🚨Water pressure has been restored to the East Bank of New Orleans and Algiers Point but the boil water advisory is still in effect.🚨 SWBNO will notify residents when the boil water advisory is canceled. If you have any questions, please call 504-52-WATER (504-529-2837).

The Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans (SWBNO) lab completed the first round of testing for 90 tap samples from the East Bank. Two of those samples– one in the Hollygrove neighborhood and one in the Tulane / Gravier area—were positive for total coliform.

Gauges will be placed and monitored by a SWBNO crew during the closure. The procedure will be aborted, and the closure opened immediately if there are any unacceptable pressure losses during the closure or if any pressure gauge readings fall to 30 psi.
