Enjoyed meeting the CEO of NBA Africa who, upon hearing I was a Boston fan, recounted former Celts coach Doc Rivers’ embrace of the African philosophy of Ubuntu (“I am because we are”), a unifying mantra Rivers used to lead the 2008 Celts to their first championship in 22 years.

For the 2nd year in a row, we partnered with MLB to hold #playballweekend in Cairo. As the summer sun set over the ancient city, Egyptian kids and parents gathered to learn and play the game, taught joyful volunteers that included former MLB players and their families.
