I sat next to Jeremy Hunt at a journalists' lunch once. I questioned him over poor treatment of disabled children based on my child's experience. He couldn't answer a single question. That lack of knowledge is echoed in this woefully researched report. theguardian.com/education/2025…

Repulsive & ignorant. No amount of resilience will help my child with Down's Syndrome continue to attend her local mainstream w/o EHCP. The EHCP ensures she gets the interventions and support to help her learn with her peers. Hunt & his '(Don't) Think Tank' need educating!

It’s time to fix the SEND system. Because there’s nothing ‘special’ about an education that works for all of us. Today parents are taking the #FightForOrdinary to Parliament.

Richard Tice MP 🇬🇧 Not all parents drive. Many SEND schools are miles away from home. Public transport isn't always available and public transport is not suitable for all kids with SEND. Kids with SEND may need an extra adult for support when travelling. Sad times when we've mps going after kids.

Some insane ramblings from a deputy leader and a former Ofsted chief. Dyslexia is not simply a fancy label for 'bad at reading' - fully understanding a condition and how it affects someone's learning is paramount in being able to support them effectively. share.google/detjIqHLwt9ZIv…
