Tari made me feel emotional about Levi again. There’s a lasting impact he leaves on people that keeps drawing you back to him and I believe it comes from how deeply human he is as a character, in the way he handles grief, suffering pain and loss. It’s heartbreaking yet inspiring.

People might try to reduce his popularity to his looks or his badass moments but don’t buy into that. Levi is one of the best-written characters in AoT, consistent from beginning to end, carrying so much of the story’s emotional weight. The one Isayama thanked, for a reason.

any push towards "rape scenes should never be explicitly shown" is anti survivor, bc we deserve the right to use art to explore our trauma, to depict our trauma for you to see, to force you to sit with the discomfort. They want you to sanitize and turn away from SA realities.

It's actually insane that Levi is only ranked below a famous boy band.. Years later, and he's still in Japan's top 10 most famous characters.. Very few chrs leave that kind of mark, and Levi is truly one of them.. Forever my GOAT..
