An enjoyable piece of escapism, not to be taken too seriously, of course, but nonetheless entertaining and, at times, quite thrilling.

My favourite Doctor Who fact. The cat from Planet of Giants is the same cat that went onto appear in The Daemons. The cat was called Noakes and appeared on Blue Peter in 1970, where they mentioned it had appeared in Doctor Who.

LOOK AND READ: DARK TOWERS (1981) Legendary serial, transmitted as part of the BBC's literacy strand for primary school kids. Spooky goings on at the titular house, with an unforgettable theme sung by the one and only Derek Griffiths!

I've been making short videos about the newly recovered Doctor Who episodes. No spoilers for any new imagery (but maybe some for plot etc) : just some cheerful excitement: youtu.be/tomJEw0dMuU

I've been asked by the family to pass on the sad news that one of the Doctor Who's longest lived contributors - Laurie Webb, aka Mr Ollis in The Three Doctors - passed away peacefully on Sunday: 5 weeks short of his 102nd birthday. What a life, what a man. Delightful company too.

Watched Daleks’ Master Plan episode 1, rewatched the existing episode 2 and now I’m four minutes into episode 3. If someone could find and return episode 4 within the next 20 minutes, that’d be great 👍

We see our home planet as a whole, lit up in spectacular blues and browns. A green aurora even lights up the atmosphere. That's us, together, watching as our astronauts make their journey to the Moon.
