If there’s one thing I’m convinced of after being on the frontlines of supporting our community during this pandemic it is that connectivity/WiFi should be a PUBLIC UTILITY not a luxury. It is as important as electricity or water. Never shut off and always accessible to ALL!

As John Lewis lies in state and exactly the moment the clock chimed 7:00pm to start the vigil, I saw a double 🌈 explode across the sky! The clouds opened to receive it (him) in front of the Montgomery Capitol. #prophetic #goodtrouble #johnlewisfreedomrunners #Selma

We can’t skip justice and get to peace. “True peace,” my father said, “is not merely the absence of tension; it is the presence of justice.”

Share this with all those people rushing to condemn critical race theory yet don’t actually know what they are even talking about. Bottom line: you can’t solve a problem like racism without talking about it. Teaching students to recognize a problem empowers them to solve it.
