This is the first case to apply FWS and to consider the sport exception under s. 195 EqA. We will be publishing the judgment on our website shortly. 2/3

Some key things in this judgement, concluding that pool is a sex-affected sport. 1. It is the existence and not magnitude of male advantage that is relevant. There is no condition in law that male advantage must be large for a sport to be sex-affected.

This is the crowdfunder for Melanie Newman's appeal. (Full disclosure: LF's Naomi Cunningham is instructed.) crowdjustice.com/case/speakers-…

This is an important case. We're aware of similar events, often run by institutionally-supported staff LGBT networks, across the public & voluntary sectors. They create a hostile environment for GC and other employees. Please support if you can, and share. crowdjustice.com/case/speakers-…

A very important appeal - with crowdfunder. A gender critical police officer is suing the police after attending a police event where gender critical views were referred to as "warped and twisted". Her barristers are Naomi Cunningham and Will Young. crowdjustice.com/case/speakers-…

With the invaluable assistance of Mark Lewis of @PatronLaw & Beth Grossman of Doughty Street Chambers, I’ve reached settlement with The Guardian in relation to an article written about me by Peter Walker, published on 6 June 2025, which was incorrect as admitted in this statement ⬇️

Excellent news. One by one, businesses and public bodies are coming to terms with the reality of the Supreme Court's ruling in For Women Scotland. And no, it is not "absurd" that the subcategory of men sometimes known as "trans women" should be excluded from women's facilities.
