I have experienced the loss of fellow officers and investigated various types of deaths, from homicides and suicides to fatal car crashes, poisonings, overdoses, and misadventures. In all these cases, families and loved ones are left devastated, unable to say a proper goodbye.

Often, all they have are brief messages like 'I'm Sorry' or 'It will be better once I'm gone.' However, such statements are false, as the pain lingers, leaving emotional wounds and causing family members to blame themselves, wondering what they could have done differently.

Sadly, we can't change the past or turn back time. Innocent people die unpredictably, often without making headlines, whether it's a tragic accident involving a transport truck or a senseless act of violence in their neighborhood. These cases began affecting me personally

I couldn't bear the thought of not being able to say goodbye to them. So I started writing to my kids every day, gradually turning paragraphs into pages and then chapters.

In this book, I poured my thoughts, hopes, fears, and dreams, ensuring that even if I'm not physically present, my daughters will know their daddy and his essence. I want to share this gift with others so that they can do the same for their loved ones

I was determined not to fail my daughters, even in death, so I penned down my feelings and reflections on love, life, sorrow, regret, and happiness. This practice became therapeutic and brought me peace of mind.

Now, my goal is to share this knowledge and help others establish their own failsafes. My book serves as a prototype, and I aspire to assist you in writing your soul down on pen and paper, enabling you to leave behind the most significant parts of yourself before it's too late.
