It's #HolocaustRemebranceDay. Three men featured in "Washington Remembers: WWII" experienced the tragedy up close. Henry Friedman survived by hiding, Arnold Samuels was a liberator at Dachau, & Joe Moser saw the horrors of Buchenwald as a POW. Learn more: bit.ly/3WzP7Z1

That's our Chief (Historian, that is)! The Sam Reed bio, as written by John, is full of great images collected during his time as Washington Office of the Secretary of State. The Washington State Archives shared many of them in their "Washington's Secretaries of State - Past and Present" album: flickr.com/photos/wastate…

The The Daily Evergreen, the student newspaper of WSU System, held dueling perspectives from two students- Republican Sam Reed and Democrat Sam Hunt. Hunt, who became a state rep, and Reed remained friends. They even worked together in creating Legacy Washington! #WSU #GoCougs #WAhistory
