Leaving clinical healthcare has been good for my soul. I never had the energy/time for hikes near 10,000 feet after work before now. I’m excited for summer daylight and getting home before 5 pm consistently.

Two years ago, the movers were at our house in Virginia packing us up to move to New Mexico. Sully was pitiful all day. 🥺 now he loves going hiking on our town trails and zooming in the high meadows of Colorado.

Walking out of our backpacking trip, our dog decided he needed to walk with a group of 3 women. They welcomed him and gave him pets and compliments. It was so cute.

Rescue dogs are the best dogs. 💙
