New experience for our alzheimers society black country team. Our first singing for the brain group for South Asian families. Loads to take on board but this is a project in development. Our pics show lots if smiley faces and plenty of foot tapping and the occasional dance move!

My family and friends know that I talk about dementia. I'm not afraid to - I work with people affected by dementia as well as having 6 family members live with this terrible disease. Please take time to watch the programme.

When did 7 year olds learn about the hippocampus, amygdala and pre frontal cortex? I was certainly nervous going into class to talk about dementia. But truly astounded by their knowledge and openess. That's dementia awareness delivered to a whole primary school.

I am fast approaching a big milestone birthday. You put all them candles in a loaf of bread then I'm serving you burnt toast.

Amazing gift this Xmas. 24 years ago I met my better half at a bollard in Birmingham. We now have our own bollard of love in our home. Hope you have all enjoyed a food festive period.
